FLOW Privacy Policy

How Shoot The Veil, Inc. handles information in FLOW, our website, and related services

Effective Date: August 15, 2026

Shoot The Veil, Inc. ("Shoot The Veil," "we," "us," or "our") operates FLOW by Shoot The Veil, our websites, the Shoot The Veil Legacy Library, Member Bonuses, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Important distinction: FLOW does not collect or track your live device location. It uses wedding locations that you choose to enter. Private inspiration images are not added to the FLOW Pose Gallery unless you intentionally submit them and provide separate submission consent.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the FLOW mobile applications, FLOW and Shoot The Veil websites, customer support, shared timeline features, the Legacy Library, Member Bonuses, and communications related to the Services. It does not govern independent websites, products, or services operated by Apple, Google, sponsors, partners, or other third parties.

2. Information We Collect

Account and contact information

We may collect your name, email address, account credentials or authentication identifiers, business name, profile information, communication preferences, and information you provide when contacting support.

Wedding and timeline information

When you create a wedding, we collect the information you enter, which may include wedding names, dates, venue or wedding locations, ceremony times, travel details, group sizes, schedules, timeline blocks, weather selections, notes, creative priorities, and related planning details. This information may concern your clients, team members, or other individuals. Please only enter information you are authorized to use.

Photos, reference images, and gallery submissions

Private reference images. You may upload images for your own timeline and creative planning. We use these images to provide the Services and do not publish them to the FLOW Pose Gallery unless you intentionally choose to submit them.

Pose Gallery submissions. If you affirmatively submit a photo to the FLOW Pose Gallery and accept the separate submission terms, we may publish, display, adapt for formatting, distribute, and promote that image in FLOW, on Shoot The Veil websites, in email, on social media, and in other promotional or educational materials. Gallery submissions may include identifiable people. You are responsible for having the copyright, model releases, privacy permissions, and any other rights needed for the submission and our permitted use.

Wedding locations and light information

FLOW uses wedding locations that you enter to calculate or retrieve information such as sunset, golden hour, blue hour, travel context, and weather-related planning information. FLOW does not request, collect, or continuously track your live GPS location. A service provider may infer a general country or region from an IP address for security, localization, or service operation, but this is not live device-location tracking.

Device, usage, notification, and diagnostic information

We and our service providers may collect device and app information needed to operate and improve FLOW, including device type and model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, general country, IP address, session dates, session count, usage duration, screens or features used, notification permission status, push-notification tokens, subscription status, error logs, crash data, and performance information.

We currently use Expo's push notification service (Expo Application Services) to deliver push notifications. Depending on configuration, Expo may process device details, push tokens, notification status, and related identifiers needed to deliver notifications. We do not enable our push provider to collect live GPS coordinates for FLOW.

Subscription and transaction information

Subscriptions and payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. We may receive transaction identifiers, purchase status, subscription plan, renewal status, cancellation status, storefront, and related records needed to provide access and support purchases.

Communications and support

If you contact us or opt in to receive communications, we may collect your email address, the contents of your message, support history, and information needed to resolve your request. We currently use Microsoft services for business email.

Website data and similar technologies

Our websites and unlisted Member Bonus pages may collect standard browser and server information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and approximate region. We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, security, analytics, and site functionality. An unlisted URL is not private or access-controlled and may be forwarded by visitors.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

Directly from you when you create an account, build a wedding, upload content, submit a gallery image, contact support, or change settings.

Automatically from your device or browser when you use the Services.

From Apple or Google in connection with subscriptions and purchase validation.

From people who share a timeline with you or include information about you in content they create.

From service providers that help us operate, secure, analyze, and support the Services.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create, store, display, sync, share, and adjust wedding timelines and related content.

Calculate or provide sunset, golden hour, blue hour, weather, and other planning information.

Provide notifications, account access, offline or limited-service functionality, and customer support.

Validate subscriptions, restore purchases, administer trials, and manage member access.

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, analyze, and improve the Services.

Personalize settings and communications based on your choices and use of FLOW.

Publish and promote photos you intentionally submit to the FLOW Pose Gallery under the submission terms you accept.

Provide the Legacy Library, Member Bonuses, partner offers, and related resources.

Send service messages and, with consent where required, marketing or promotional communications.

Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Use.

Comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights, and respond to lawful requests.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform our agreement with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, with your consent where requested, and as needed to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We use vendors to host data, provide databases, deliver notifications and email, process analytics and diagnostics, validate payments, calculate location-based planning information, provide support, and secure the Services. Current providers may include Amazon Web Services, MongoDB, Expo Application Services, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and providers of mapping, sun-time, and weather data. Providers may change as the Services evolve. They may process information only to provide contracted services or as otherwise permitted by law and their agreements with us.

At your direction

When you share a read-only timeline or other content, we make that information available to the people or recipients you choose. Anyone who receives or obtains a share link may be able to view the linked content, so share carefully.

Pose Gallery and public content

Photos intentionally submitted to the Pose Gallery may be visible to FLOW members and may be published or promoted through Shoot The Veil channels as described above and in our Terms of Use. Do not submit an image that you are not prepared to have displayed publicly.

Partners and Member Bonuses

Member Bonuses may link to sponsors or partners. We do not automatically give a partner your private timeline or private images. If you click a partner link, redeem an offer, or provide information directly to a partner, that partner may collect information under its own privacy policy. Links may include referral or campaign identifiers that let us or the partner measure use of an offer.

Legal, safety, and business transfers

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and property of Shoot The Veil or others. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and protections.

7. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information from FLOW for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not process personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required choices before the change applies.

8. Permissions and Your Choices

FLOW may request permission to access photos or the camera when you choose to add an image, and permission to send notifications when you choose wedding-day guidance. You can change device permissions in your operating-system settings. Declining an optional permission may limit the related feature but should not prevent unrelated paid features from working.

You can unsubscribe from promotional email through the link in the message or by contacting us. You may still receive non-promotional communications about your account, subscription, security, or requested support.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and service information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is needed.

Wedding timelines, notes, and private reference images are generally retained until you delete them or delete your account.

After a verified account-deletion request, we generally delete or de-identify active account data within 45 days, unless a shorter period is required by law.

Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 additional days before routine deletion.

Transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary or legally required.

Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained and used for legitimate business purposes.

Upon account deletion or a verified removal request, we will remove your Pose Gallery submission from the active gallery and future uses under our control within a reasonable period. Copies already included in completed materials, distributed media, legal records, or backups may persist where removal is impracticable or legally permitted.

10. Account Deletion

You may initiate deletion through the account settings inside FLOW or through our external account-deletion page at https://shoottheveil.com/account-deletion. You may also contact help@shoottheveil.com for assistance. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

Subscription reminder: Deleting your FLOW account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription in your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings to prevent future renewal charges.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, restrict or object to certain processing, and appeal a decision on a privacy request. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not currently engage in those three activities.

To exercise a right, email help@shoottheveil.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Describe your request and the email associated with your account. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." You may also contact the appropriate privacy or consumer-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority and your identity.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transmission where appropriate. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Protect your password, use a secure device, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

13. Children

FLOW is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13. Accounts are intended for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact help@shoottheveil.com. Wedding photos may depict minors; the submitting photographer is responsible for obtaining all required parent or guardian permissions before submitting an image to the Pose Gallery.

14. International Data Transfers

Shoot The Veil is based in Tennessee, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to third-party websites, app stores, planners, mapping or weather providers, sponsors, and other services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FLOW, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Your continued use after an update becomes effective means that the updated Policy applies to information processed after that date, subject to applicable law.
