Terms and Conditions
FLOW Terms of Use
Terms governing FLOW by Shoot The Veil, Member Bonuses, and related services
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Shoot The Veil, Inc. ("Shoot The Veil," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of FLOW by Shoot The Veil, our websites, shared timelines, the Shoot The Veil Legacy Library, Member Bonuses, the FLOW Pose Gallery, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, submitting content, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Please read carefully: FLOW is a planning and creative-support tool. It does not replace your professional judgment, a wedding planner, safety procedures, contracts, or independent verification of critical timing and conditions.
1. Eligibility and Business Use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract to create an account or purchase a subscription. FLOW is intended primarily for photographers and other wedding professionals. If you use the Services for a business or on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that business or organization to these Terms.
2. Your Account
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping account and wedding information current. You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share account credentials in a way that circumvents subscription or access controls.
3. What FLOW Provides
FLOW helps users create and manage visual wedding-day timelines, organize creative inspiration and notes, calculate or display light-related timing, receive guidance notifications, adjust plans, share read-only timelines, and access related member resources. Features may vary by device, operating system, territory, subscription status, and app version.
Generated timelines and calculations are starting points based on the information you provide and data available to the Services. You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every timeline before relying on it.
4. Professional Judgment and Wedding-Day Conditions
Weddings are unpredictable. Schedules, weather, travel times, venue access, ceremonies, light, people, and technical conditions can change. FLOW does not guarantee that a timeline will be accurate, complete, conflict-free, or achievable, or that any event, photograph, lighting condition, notification, or creative opportunity will occur.
Sunset, golden hour, blue hour, weather, travel, and similar information may be calculated or supplied by third parties and is approximate. Verify critical information independently. Do not use FLOW while driving or in any manner that creates a safety risk.
FLOW does not replace a wedding planner, coordinator, venue, legal agreement, client communication, emergency plan, or your professional obligations. You are solely responsible for services you provide to clients and for decisions you make before or during a wedding.
5. Subscription, Trial, Billing, and Cancellation
30-day free trial
Eligible new subscribers may receive a 30-day free trial. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple or Google and may be limited to one introductory offer per subscription group or account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription.
Price and automatic renewal
The standard United States price is $9.99 per month, plus applicable taxes. Pricing in other territories is displayed in local currency by Apple or Google. Your subscription automatically renews each month until canceled. The store purchase screen shows the amount that will be charged and the applicable renewal terms before you confirm.
Cancellation
You may cancel anytime through your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period unless the applicable store states otherwise. Deleting your account, uninstalling FLOW, or stopping use does not automatically cancel store billing.
Refunds and price changes
Apple or Google processes billing and determines refund eligibility under its policies and applicable law. We do not control store refund decisions. We may change pricing for future billing periods with the notice and consent required by the applicable store and law. Existing promotional or grandfathered rates may have separate eligibility conditions.
6. License to Use the Services
Subject to these Terms and an active entitlement where required, Shoot The Veil grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own lawful professional or personal use. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
7. Your Content
"User Content" includes wedding details, timelines, notes, photos, reference images, gallery submissions, feedback, and other material you upload, enter, submit, or share through the Services. As between you and Shoot The Veil, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licenses in these Terms.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, adapt for technical formatting, and display your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services, comply with your directions, and enforce these Terms. This operational license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, security, legal, and recordkeeping periods.
8. Private Reference Images
Images you upload as private references remain private to your account and people with whom you intentionally share the related timeline. We will not place a private reference image in the FLOW Pose Gallery or use it in public marketing unless you separately choose to submit it and accept the Pose Gallery submission terms.
9. FLOW Pose Gallery Submissions
Submitting an image to the FLOW Pose Gallery is optional and requires a separate affirmative submission action. By selecting the option to submit an image and accepting the submission terms, you grant Shoot The Veil a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, crop, resize, edit for formatting, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted image in FLOW, on Shoot The Veil websites, in the Legacy Library, in emails, on social media, and in advertising, promotional, editorial, and educational materials. This license also allows us to make the image available to FLOW members as creative inspiration.
You retain ownership of your copyright. Unless we separately agree otherwise, we are not required to provide attribution, payment, royalties, approval rights, or notice before an authorized use. We will not knowingly sell ownership of your photograph to another person. We may use service providers to host, format, distribute, or promote gallery content on our behalf.
You represent and warrant that:
You created the image or have written authority from the copyright owner to grant the license above.
You have obtained all model releases, client permissions, privacy consents, venue permissions, and other rights needed for publication and promotional use.
If a minor is identifiable, you have obtained legally valid permission from the minor's parent or guardian for the permitted uses.
The image does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, confidentiality, or other rights.
The image is not unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, pornographic, exploitative, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate for the FLOW community.
We may review, reject, remove, crop, categorize, or stop displaying any submission at any time. Users may report inappropriate or infringing gallery content to help@shoottheveil.com.
You may request removal of a submission by emailing help@shoottheveil.com. We will stop new uses under our control and remove the image from the active gallery within a reasonable period. The license continues as reasonably necessary for backups, legal records, materials completed or distributed before the request, and uses that cannot reasonably be recalled or removed.
10. Shared Timelines and Links
FLOW may let you create a read-only share link. You control who receives the link, but links can be forwarded, copied, photographed, or accessed by others. Do not include information you are not authorized to share. We are not responsible for a recipient's use, disclosure, or copying of content after you share it. We may disable links for security, legal, or operational reasons.
11. Member Bonuses, Legacy Library, and Partners
An active FLOW membership may include the Shoot The Veil Legacy Library, archived education, Follow Alongs, guides, templates, creative resources, and partner deals. Bonus content and offers may be added, changed, removed, or discontinued and are not a promise of new educational content or any particular partner benefit.
Legacy Library and Member Bonus materials are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share an unlisted page link, but you may not bulk copy, scrape, resell, republish, create a competing library from, or commercially distribute the materials without written permission. An unlisted URL is not guaranteed to remain secret or unchanged.
Partner offers are provided by independent third parties and may have separate terms, eligibility rules, expiration dates, and privacy practices. We do not control or warrant partner products or services. We may receive compensation, referral credit, or other value from participating partners, and we will provide disclosures when required.
12. Shoot The Veil Content and Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, interfaces, designs, timelines, systems, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, videos, guides, templates, catalog content, and other materials provided by Shoot The Veil or its licensors, are protected by intellectual-property and other laws. Except for the limited license above, these Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code, bypass security, remove rights notices, or create derivative products from the Services except as expressly permitted by law or written permission.
13. Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback about FLOW, you grant Shoot The Veil a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your photographs or other User Content.
14. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Use the Services unlawfully or in violation of another person's rights.
Upload content you do not have permission to use or publish.
Harass, exploit, threaten, impersonate, or endanger another person.
Upload malware, interfere with security, overload systems, or attempt unauthorized access.
Scrape, harvest, index, or copy the Pose Gallery, Legacy Library, or Services at scale.
Use automated systems to access the Services except through an interface or integration we authorize.
Circumvent subscriptions, access controls, usage limits, or technological protections.
Use FLOW in a way that creates a safety risk, including interacting with it while driving.
Misrepresent your identity, rights, affiliation, or authority.
15. User-Generated Content Moderation
We may moderate, filter, refuse, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms, infringes rights, is objectionable, or may expose users or Shoot The Veil to harm. Gallery users may report content to help@shoottheveil.com. We aim to respond to credible reports promptly, but we do not guarantee pre-screening of every submission. Repeated or serious violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
16. Third-Party Services and App Stores
The Services may depend on or link to Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, MongoDB, Expo Application Services, mapping, weather, sun-time, sponsor, and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies govern your direct use of their services. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, products, content, or conduct.
If you download FLOW from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your licensed use of the iOS application unless a valid custom end-user license agreement is presented through the App Store. Apple is not responsible for the Services, maintenance, support, or claims relating to FLOW except as stated in Apple's applicable terms. If you download FLOW from Google Play, your use is also subject to applicable Google Play terms.
17. Changes, Availability, and Updates
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, bonus content, integrations, or portions of the Services. We may release updates that are required for continued use, security, compatibility, or functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability, including during limited connectivity, provider outages, maintenance, emergencies, or events beyond our reasonable control.
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using FLOW at any time and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the Services, fail to pay, or if required by law. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Termination ends your license to use the Services but does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including intellectual-property rights, payment obligations, content licenses to the extent stated, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." SHOOT THE VEIL DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FLOW WILL PREVENT DELAYS, MISSED EVENTS, CLIENT DISPUTES, LOST PHOTOGRAPHS, MISSED LIGHT, SCHEDULING CONFLICTS, OR OTHER WEDDING-DAY PROBLEMS. YOU USE THE SERVICES AND RELY ON TIMELINES, NOTIFICATIONS, CALCULATIONS, WEATHER, TRAVEL, AND CREATIVE INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
20. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOOT THE VEIL AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOST PHOTOGRAPHS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REPUTATIONAL HARM, CLIENT CLAIMS, OR MISSED EVENTS OR OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SHOOT THE VEIL FOR FLOW DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shoot The Veil and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your User Content, Pose Gallery submissions, professional services, violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or infringement of another person's rights. We may control the defense of a covered claim, and you agree to cooperate.
22. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law applies. Any dispute not required by law to be heard elsewhere will be brought in a state or federal court located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Consumer-protection laws in your place of residence may provide additional rights that cannot be waived.
23. Electronic Communications
You agree that notices, disclosures, receipts, and communications may be provided electronically through FLOW, email, the applicable app store, or our website. You are responsible for keeping your email address current. Marketing communications remain subject to your consent and opt-out rights.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in FLOW, law, providers, or business practices. We will post the updated Terms with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes generally apply prospectively. If you continue using the Services after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms, except where law requires a different form of consent.
25. General Terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, store purchase terms, and any feature-specific terms you accept form the agreement between you and Shoot The Veil concerning the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or by operation of law. Headings are for convenience only.
